What makes your Lender Services unique?

As a CDFI lender, our Mortgage Loan Officers take a community-based approach to home financing. We lead with a credit education mindset, provide bilingual support, and communicate in clear, plain language -explaining terms, fees, and timelines every step of the way. We approach lending with an understanding of historic disinvestment, distrust of financial institutions, and the realities of multigenerational decision-making.

Apart from English, do you have any other language or cultural competencies?

We speak both English and Spanish.

Are there any geographies, populations, or housing styles that you specialize in?

We offer mortgage loan amounts from $20,000 to $832,750 for single-family homes or duplexes intended as primary residences; buyers do not need to be first-time homeowners but may only own one property at a time. Our buyers benefit from low down payment options with no monthly mortgage insurance.

What credit scores do you serve?

I serve clients with a variety of credit scores from 580 and above.

What downpayment savings do you work with?
We serve clients who have less 3% in savings and over 20% savings

Do you offer loans that cater to borrowers with low-to-moderate income?

Yes.

Have you worked with clients who have Housing Choice vouchers?
Yes.

Is there anything else I should know about you?

As a CDFI lender, Believe Mortgage is built to expand equitable access to homeownership, supporting borrowers across a full spectrum of income levels and home prices.
